Leave the burgers and hot dogs to the guys, and entertain your girl friends and kiddos on Game Day with this tailgating party by Mirabelle Creations!  What a way to show your team colors and let everyone know you are definitely in the game!  Deanna (of Mirabelle Creations) is a University of Kentucky alum and designed her party around the Wildcats!  Go Cats Go!  The party printables are all available in your own team colors!

I love all of the aspects of this girly tailgate party!  Look at all of the details…

The drum lampshade is a great focal point against the beautiful blue pattern- Deanna even added crystals!

Deanna carries the blue theme right along with Blueberry Pie Pops!

What a GREAT idea to make the cake in your team’s colors!  I love it!

I especially love how Deanna incorporated her Kentucky Derby mint julep cups- as she says, “…Kentucky girls don’t just use them on Derby Day!”.

How smart to add a simple ruffle to a white tablecloth for a game day touch of team color!

What a beautiful take on a fun fall tradition!  Something so nice to know about Deanna of Mirabelle’s Creations is that she designs all of the party printables AND she donates 50% of her proceeds to charity!  That makes parties even better!  Be sure to see what she can do for you for your Game Day party needs!

Celebrating your birthday with a Mexican Fiesta is a sure way to have a great time!  My daughter and several of her friends had a ball with all of the bright colors and (hopefully) vivid memories of a beautiful party day full of fun!  Planning all of the party ideas and details was loads of fun- although we don’t claim to have everything authentically perfect- this is our take on a party that combines Mexican birthday party ideas with a young girl’s likes and wishes!  For instance, we know hedgehogs don’t hail from Mexico- but when she fell in love with a festive-looking hedgehog at a local shop, we decided the hedgehog would make a perfectly fun party favor!  So read on and enjoy- and hopefully you will find an idea or two that you can use for a Mexican-themed party or even a Cinco de Mayo celebration, too- and inspiration to incorporate ideas that make your party perfectly-suited for the birthday child!

There is nothing like the bright colors and happy prints of Lilly Pulitzer to make every day feel like a party!  For my daughter’s 12th birthday party, she wanted to decorate cakes~ Lilly-style!  So, in order to decide how to mesh the two, I kept thinking “if Lilly had a cake shop instead of a juice stand”… I have to admit, this was one fun party to plan!  It is a blast to see where ideas go in the hands of a TWEEN!  Enjoy and remember, “…being happy never goes out of style!”.

Another Reason to Wear a Fancy Hat…

The Royal Wedding made us all want to find a great hat and a reason to wear it!  Here is a little tease from Simply Swanky/Swanky Press to set the mood for the next best hat-wearing party around!  An idea board for The Kentucky Derby to get your party ideas churning!  May 7th will be here soon!

P.S. This party is for the BIG kids in the family- with perks the little kids will love too!
