It won’t be long before we are all saying Shell-o to summer! 🐚🌸💙 Here in the south, our school year is winding down and the kids are about to start summer vacation. Do you guys get out in May or June? Either way, this party theme is a fun way to kick-off summer and celebrate making it through this wild school year. Here I used oyster shells painted by @whatpippawantspippagoetz as napkin rings and party favors. The cute party paper is by @_wheniwasyourage_ Cakes and cupcakes are from @emmiejunecakes 💙🌸🐚

It’s all in the presentation, right? My favorite way to serve ordinary chicken salad is in a grapefruit basket. I remember the first time I made these was for my book club when I was in my 20s- and I was so proud even though I think lunch was a little late bc I wanted each one to be perfect. I have learned to order chicken salad and just focus on the presentation- my favorite chicken salad is @chickensaladchick “Fancy Nancy”.
