This party had me laughing at first sight!  I love the concept behind the WANTED! Party that Margit, of Dot & Dash hosted for her daughter’s birthday.  Margit describes her daughter as “…ADORABLE BUT VERY NAUGHTY” and Margit planned the entire party around the idea that her daughter was “wanted” for her naughty behaviors and included those on the invitations!  Margit infuses humor and western style in this cute party for her outlaw of a daughter!

The Birthday Girl’s big brother helped list her “crimes” and Margit turned them into an focal point of the invitation.  Surrounded by the wild west decor, this wanted birthday girl had the prettiest jail cell around and a fabulous dessert display awaiting after her capture!

Candies included chocolate marshmallows (tumbleweeds), pink peanuts, and pretzels (lassos)~

Funny signs graced the party throughout~

I really love the pink shutters that Margit used as part of the backdrop~

A General Store was set up with activities for the guests.  Margit said that the Marshmallow Shooters alone would have kept these  cute cowpokes busy!

The Photo Booth provided lots of fun for the kids to pose behind the bars of the jail!

Margit served the guests a meal from the Chuck Wagon~pulled pork, mac and cheese, slaw, fruit, and corn bread.  Utensils were wrapped in bandannas…

Juices were served in Mason Jars with Daisy Lids or from Juice Boxes wrapped in party paper that read, “...the naughtiest baby in these parts...”~  Drinks for the grown-ups also included beverages from the “Saloon” and the signature adult drink of the party, ON THE RUM PUNCH~

The cute Birthday Girl doesn’t look anything like an outlaw to me!  Margit says, “…This party was non-stop fun for all the guests, including the birthday girl, who knew it was her special day and was on her very best behavior.”.

Thank you for sharing the fun with us, Margit!  Such a funny and cute way to celebrate Avery’s true spirit!

CAMILLE’S FIESTA ~ MEXICAN THEME BIRTHDAY PARTY IDEAS

Celebrating your birthday with a Mexican Fiesta is a sure way to have a great time!  My daughter and several of her friends had a ball with all of the bright colors and (hopefully) vivid memories of a beautiful party day full of fun!  Planning all of the party ideas and details was loads of fun- although we don’t claim to have everything authentically perfect- this is our take on a party that combines Mexican birthday party ideas with a young girl’s likes and wishes!  For instance, we know hedgehogs don’t hail from Mexico- but when she fell in love with a festive-looking hedgehog at a local shop, we decided the hedgehog would make a perfectly fun party favor!  So read on and enjoy- and hopefully you will find an idea or two that you can use for a Mexican-themed party or even a Cinco de Mayo celebration, too- and inspiration to incorporate ideas that make your party perfectly-suited for the birthday child!
