I love the gorgeous color of the dessert table display!
Wow, what a lovely set-up and design for a charming tea party!
Here is what Maggie has to say about hosting her daughter’s party…
My daughter's number one wish for her 9th birthday was to have a sophisticated afternoon tea with her friends. I was ecstatic when Gaby told me that she wanted a Tea Party Themed birthday. I must say, that a scrumptious Tea Party was at the top of my wish list growing up. So, what a blessing to be able to make my girl’s wish come true.My mother’s tropical back yard was the perfect setting for the occasion. Flowers were an integral part of the décor. I juxtaposed different flower patterns in the cupcake stands, cupcake wrappers, table runner and banner to create a vintage feel. Gaby’s gorgeous aqua bedroom chest became the desserttable which displayed a “croquembouche” (or tower of cream puffs held together with caramel) and mini-desserts like brownie pops, sugar cookies in delicate paper flowers called Petite Blossom Cups, French macarons and of course homemade tea. The little guests wore pretty hats and sat in a long table decorated with teacups and cupcake stands
showcasing delicious Cupcakes. I loved how the vanilla mini cupcakes looked in the pink plastic tea cups. All in all, Gaby had a lovely afternoon of fun and sophistication with her friends.

What an absolutely lovely day, Maggie and Cristina! Thank you for sharing these fabulous birthday party ideas with us!
