What exactly is a Napkin Twilly? A Twilly is one of my favorite accessories that I use to add a pretty detail around my home or to an outfit. It is a small ribbon or fabric that can be easily tied onto napkins to elevate the look of your table instantly- and it can be monogrammed so that you can always add a monogram to any set of napkins that you already have! If you’re like I am and you wish you could have all of your napkins quickly monogrammed- now you can! Just open your Twillies and tie one on!
A napkin twilly serves as a monogram and a napkin ring! It is truly a fabulous way to add a customized touch to your table settings. They are so versatile- the ideas on how to use them seem endless! I partnered with Gabrielle Rogers, of The Preppy Stitch, to bring the first set to life. I chose ivory satin with a blue monogram because of how neutral the look is- but the sky is the limit with color combinations of ribbon and monograms.
I typically tie my ribbon twillies as shown above and below, but you can tie them how you like. I simply wrap the ribbon around the napkin and then bring both of the ends to the front and tie a knot.
