I was so excited when Amanda, of Shindig Parties to Go, kindly sent me her Candy Christmas Collection to use for an upcoming party! While I am working away on a (much simpler) party with this fun collection, I wanted to show you Amanda’s SPECTACULAR party ideas using her Candy Christmas printables! Her creativity and eye for detail is amazing! Pull a few ideas to use for your own party or use them all- you and your guests will love it! There will be more from Shindig following this post~ keep going for the cocoa bar and those super easy Rice Krispy Treats!
Amanda adds so many details to her backdrop and party display~ notice the mix of patterns framed separately, the dressed-up cake stands that Amanda made herself, and the candy topiaries! Easy store-bought Rice Krispie Treats become beautiful party food with chocolate drizzles and paper toppers!
To make the Rice Krispie Treats, start with store-bought Rice Krispie Treats and cut into bite-size portions. Add a lollipop stick. Dip in melted white chocolate and then drizzle with melted red Candy Melts (found at craft stores in the baking aisle). Easy!
The beautiful cake was homemade by Amanda, but you could also use a store-bought cake and decorate with peppermint sticks. The always-perfect fondant toppers are from Brittany at Edible Details.
More fondant toppers grace the goodies on the table~
I love the signs that Amanda designed for this party~
One of my favorite ideas from Shindig is how Amanda used printed paper from her collection to make a party hat to display each cake pop! The “ball” on top of the party hat is a cake pop on top! She also added fur around the edges of the hat for an extra festive touch~
An easy candy addition is large marshmallows topped with crushed peppermint and served with a striped straw in the center~
I just LOVE the red velvet parfaits served with a Santa hat topping the spoons~ I hope there are still some at Hobby Lobby for me to use this Christmas!
The candy bar wrappers are too cute for words!
Perfect for the treat bags!
Amanda put all of this together and displayed it on the most beautiful tablecloth that she made using a white tablecloth that she already had. She added ruffles in different fabrics and topped with a bow!
LOVELY! Thank you, Amanda, for sharing your talent with us!
