Meet Mary Kalista of Chronically Chic

Welcome to Chronically Chic. My name is Kallista. I live in Denver with my husband, Peter, and our dog, Winston. I have my Master of Public Health from the University of Colorado.

My life has not gone how I had planned it. I was hoping to join the workforce in program evaluation after I graduated from the University of Colorado in May 2018. My migraines had other plans for me.

In April 2020 I was lamenting my disastrous bedside table with its thousands (I exaggerate but it feels that way) of pill bottles. I had ordered a pretty pill organizer from Etsy but it only fit 2 or 3 pills a day. I was on the hunt for a decorative pill organizer that was practical enough for a person with chronic illness. I could not find one. That was when I decided to launch Chronically Chic and sell the pill organizer that I needed. Something beautifully practical.

I created this blog to connect with others living with chronic illnesses and share what knowledge I have gained over the years. I hope we can walk this difficult journey towards better health together.
