Have you guys discovered Myka Meier of Beaumont Etiquette yet? Myka began her own etiquette company in New York City soon after studying and learning through intensive training and research. She found herself studying in England and learning the royal versions of etiquette- and she brought it all back to America with her to share her love of showing respect through manners, poise, and grace. Myka also partnered with The Plaza Hotel to teach classes at the hotel~ what a perfect combination and atmosphere in which to practice etiquette!
Today, I am sharing my conversation with Myka as we talk about the proper way to serve tea. In December, our Supper Club member and friend, Beth Pressley, asked about the best way to host a Plaza-style tea party. I knew Myka would be the perfect person to answer the question with her inside-knowledge! I am thrilled to share what Myka teaches us, and I hope you will continue to enjoy Myka's many offerings on etiquette through her book, Youtube Channel, and website. I look forward to when her classes begin at The Plaza again- I can't wait to enroll my kids and enjoy them for myself, too!
Myka brings a freshness to etiquette and understanding that it is a form of being respectful and kind~ I admire the way she reaches the younger generations with relevant situations and by sharing through social media. Her wit and delivery make the lessons that she teaches approachable and fun~ while making the world a nicer place to be!
Have a listen to our conversation made just for us at The Supper Club~ and enjoy!
