SPRING SHOWER

Angela, of Invites and More by Angela, hosted a spring shower for a client, and she did every single detail herself! I am always impressed when I see parties where it all is done by one person- I appreciate that because we all know how many hours are spent making everything “just right”! And so, from the cake and desserts to the printed paper and party favors…Angela did it all!

Although this party was designed for an older guest of honor, many of the ideas can be used for a fabulous tween party or any delightful girl party. Don’t the mousse parfaits look inviting?

Delicious desserts weren’t the only things the guests enjoyed. Angela made sure each guest would be ready for those wonderful spring breezes by wrapping a pashmina around each chair~ a perfect way to dress up the chairs and a lovely gesture…

And, a favor wrapped and ready to help the guests remember this special celebration!

There is nothing like the bright colors and happy prints of Lilly Pulitzer to make every day feel like a party! For my daughter’s 12th birthday party, she wanted to decorate cakes~ Lilly-style! So, in order to decide how to mesh the two, I kept thinking “if Lilly had a cake shop instead of a juice stand”… I have to admit, this was one fun party to plan! Celebrating your birthday with a Mexican Fiesta is a sure way to have a great time! My daughter and several of her friends had a ball with all of the bright colors and (hopefully) vivid memories of a beautiful party day full of fun!
