Nothing says springtime quite like a Strawberry Patch!! What a perfect place to host a party, too! Michele, of Sweet Threads Clothing, is sharing her birthday party ideas with us today~ follow along for the perfect way to include…
1. A great venue
2. Bulit in activity
3. An easy (and HEALTHY) party favor
The kids enjoyed being at the Strawberry Farm and picking berries! Michele went a step further and provided adorable decorations, a dessert table, and a favor table. One of my favorites is the decorated cookie collection!
Michele’s daughter Emma turned 6, and they celebrated with friends at the local Strawberry Farm. I love how Michele brought a vintage vibe with her to help make the party feel even more special- all of the sweet touches on the table are just perfect!
Strawberry Lemonade served in Mason Jars looks adorable with customized labels with the birthday number!
I love the ribbon skirt around the table!
Although bringing home a basket of strawberries from a Strawberry Party is awonderful favor in itself, Michele added a few more personal touches and created strawberry basket favors with hair clips, bubbles, cups, and the sweetest favor tags!
What a cute way to set-up the favor table!
And, a berry, berry cute and sweet BIRTHDAY GIRL!
Thank you for sharing these darling birthday party ideas with us, Michele!! Strawberry Parties are one of my favorites!! READ ON FOR MORE PARTY PLANNING DETAILS FROM MICHELE…
Happy Birthday Emma! What a way to celebrate with a sweet and chic strawberry party complete with hayride out on the farm to pick strawberries!
Everything about this party was sweet, chic and vintage inspired ~ from the printables designed by Amber of Party On! Designs to the gorgeous cookies created by The Cookie Jar to the dishes picked up at local antique shops. ~ we certainly wanted a shabby chic look.
I scoured local antique shops and scored on colored depression glass and milk glass bowls that I used as serving platters for all the foods and desserts. A vintage Pyrex loaf pan served as a holder for cookie party favors. I even used my grandmother’s vintage mint polka dot fabric as a table runner to complete the look. We served tea sandwiches, fresh strawberries and pink lemonade in mason jars to all our guests before heading out on the hayride to pick strawberries.
Guests were treated to delicious cookies created by Flourish Sweet Shop that complemented our party perfectly. Each guest also received their party favors in wooden strawberry baskets provided by Party On! Designs. Each one was filled with personalized strawberry cups from I Have A Favor, “berry bubbles” and a handmade strawberry hair clip made by the birthday girls grandma. (Yes she made 15+!!!) We decorated the favors tables with a beautiful ribbon topiary and ribbon garland from Sweet Georgia Sweet to matched our party colors perfectly.
After signing Happy Birthday the guests got down and dirty on the farm! What a sweet and chic way to celebrate turning 6!
