Today is a double feature of the creative talent at The Creative Orchard! Renee designed this party for her son's 2nd birthday, and it truly is SEW CUTE! Renee based the decorations off of adorable sock monkeys and the craft materials used to make them -using buttons, yarn, and all things cute for this party!
I love the sock monkeys that Renee chose for the party- these sock monkeys each have their own name, design, and colors- they are made by a company called Midwest CBK and are called Genuine Monkeez.
The sign that Renee made of buttons is adorable and so perfect for her theme...
What a great idea to use a spool of thread for a place card!
The food table is just as creative...moonkey pies, banana chips, and a "Sew Cute" banner made of wooden letters wrapped in yarn.
Of course, there were banana splits!
These cups are one of my favorite parts of this party! They started out clear and Renee transformed them with construction paper and circle cut-outs. I LOVE the little monkey hanging on the side! The games and activities fit in perfectly and included a variety of ages...
The sock contest is a great idea!
What a gorgeous sock puppet theater...
The party favor was a cute bag of candy bananas...
Sew Cute and then some!
Thank you, Renee, for sharing your parties! I can't wait to see the next one!!
