Woodland owls and other animals of the forest have been a hot trend in parties this year, and so I have enjoyed seeing this whimsical take on the woodland theme- with bright pops of pinks, greens, and blues, Libby Lane Press has created a wonderful party theme! Full of easy treats and do-it-yourself decorations, look closely at all of the beautiful details~and invite over a few little friends to enjoy some fun during the school vacation or any time of the year!
I love the white yarn poms hanging from the branches on the dessert table- snowballs for winter in the woodlands! Throughout the table, you will find marshmallow "snow" drifts and candy delights. Notice how the candy trees stand tall in the wintry forest below the fun and crafty yarn ball chandeliers!
I REALLY love the candy trees! Nicolle wrapped styrofoam cones with Airheads, Buttton Candy, and Pixie Stix...I also love the ribbon tree~how easy and beautiful!
The treats included lovely little pops and cup cake toppers from professional bakers as well as EASY treats you can make with a simple trip to the grocery store for supplies...
You will LOVE how easy these adorable PINK TOADSTOOLS are to make! Simple take a Hostess "Sno Ball" and attach to a jumbo marshmallow using icing. SO cute and easy!
Nicolle also made simple edible acorns by using a doughnut hole dipped in icing and sprinkles with a pretzel stem for larger acorns. Smaller acorns were made with a Hershey's Kiss, mini Nutter Butter, and a chocolate chip on top. The Graham Cracker Owls are a hoot, too~mashmallow eyes with candy details!
Pop over to Libby Lane Press for an adorable download of a fill-in invitation for purchase to make the party even easier! Nicolle has made it simple- print on your home computer and fill in the information for a fun play-date! I also think this would make an adorable theme for Valentine's Day!
The delightful yarn ball chandeliers were made by Nicolle using balloons, Elmer's glue, cornstarch, andyarn. I love it that they will hang in her children's playroom after the party! Such a great idea! Thank you for sharing, Nicolle!
