A fashionable and sophisticated birthday girl requested a 70’s tie-dye party with her friends, and her mom Deanna delivered in style! With a nod to 70’s fashion, a Missoni-inspired chevron print was the focus of the party printables designed by Deanna (Mirabelle Creations) and was carried throughout the design of the party. Disco balls, pet rocks, tie-dyed shirts, and beautiful desserts will have you looking for your bell-bottoms and singing, “… Night fever, night fever…”
Deanna made and decorated the cake herself. She used Sixlets to create the chevron pattern on the cake~ the cupcakes were topped with toppers from Mirabelle Creations.
Deanna made the disco ball cake pops and the doughnuts~ I love how she incorporated the teal blue and chartreuse colors of the party by displaying them on a bed of gumballs.
The lime-flavored marshmallows were also made by Deanna- they add more groovy color and are a favorite of the birthday girl!
The drink station is equally hip with such perfect little details~
The disco balls on the drink jars were made by Deanna and her daughter. They used wooden beads and covered them in Mod Podge and glitter.
The girls danced to disco music, painted pet rocks, and tie-dyed shirts…
Thanks for sharing, Deanna! Mira’s Party was FAR OUT!
