Oh, my- what a tea party!  With so many unique and cute details, you will love seeing this darling party by The Sweetest Affair!  Mom Aaliyah planned this sweet affair for her own daughter London- and hosted a tea party with whimsical flair.  With a candy-covered tea pot, a funny spout of tea (made from Sixlets candy) shooting from teapot to tea cup, and a precious book on two-year old etiquette, this party was fit for a Birthday Queen!

How cute are the little tea cup cakes?

The sweet little guests sipped lemonade and enjoyed wearing gloves and hats.  Age-appropriate sweets were dressed up in their tea party best!  Notice how polished these graham crackers are in their birthday hats and pearls~

Notice the handmade and customized paper flowers…they also serve as an extra party favor for the guests!  Aaliyah made them and decorated with them throughout the party.

Aaliyah wrote this precious book as a keepsake of the things London does at this age.  What a sweet idea!

Here is the darling little Birthday Girl with her tea cup!

Favors were little “tea bags” filled with Cheerios and Smarties~ I love how dainty they are!

Thank you, Aaliyah, for sharing your daughter’s tea party!  There are so many fun ideas to see!

CAMILLE’S CLUBHOUSE ~ Confectionery, Soda Shoppe, Spa

My daughter had lots of ideas of what she wanted to do to celebrate her 10th birthday!  She wanted to have lots of cookies~ and have a soda shoppe ~ and set up a spa for nail painting!  With so many ideas, I knew we should come up with something that would tie it all together.  And, that is how Camille’s Clubhouse became the theme- the Clubhouse is where you can find lots of her favorite things!  We sent invitations with a an insert that had a “password” that had to be unscrambled and brought to the party for “entry”.  That was an easy way to get the guests involved before the party even started!
