Mom Sibel knows how to throw a party!  With her backyard parties styled to a T and her mega-watt smile, Sibel makes it look easy to host a party at your home with all of the trimmings!  Sibel’s son, Arda, had a fancy and fantastic Ferrari party to celebrate his 3rd birthday!  Arda has severe food allergies and so all of the food and treats are carefully chosen~ and then served with panache!

Sibel’s parties are always full of energy- the happiness jumps off the page at you!  I love how she incorporated several tables with different looks but are also cohesive by using the party colors in creative ways~ here is a view of the entire party space…

Sibel always incorporates a beautiful way to share photos of her birthday child- marking the changes throughout the year and keeping the focus on the birthday boy, Sibel lined a table with photos in matching frames and added treats for the children and adults!

The cake table is also a highlight with its fancy table skirt and a nod to ferraris and Arda’s new number!

Guests also enjoy lunch being served in red car boxes with condiments labeled in customized bottles…

Guests were also treated to a trophy case with customized trophies- they were all winners at this party!!

Guests were greeted with rugs spelling out Arda’s name leading the way…

This family exudes joy- what a treat to see the thrills of celebrating their son!

Even baby sister had a race-day-ready outfit that said I Love Arda!

That is one happy Birthday Boy!

Thank you for sharing your son’s party, Sibel!  It is always a delight to see your parties!

LILLY PULITZER CAKE DECORATING FLAMINGO BIRTHDAY PARTY IDEAS

There is nothing like the bright colors and happy prints of Lilly Pulitzer to make every day feel like a party!  For my daughter’s 12th birthday party, she wanted to decorate cakes~ Lilly-style!  So, in order to decide how to mesh the two, I kept thinking “if Lilly had a cake shop instead of a juice stand”… I have to admit, this was one fun party to plan!  It is a blast to see where ideas go in the hands of a TWEEN!  Enjoy and remember, “…being happy never goes out of style!”.

CAMILLE’S FIESTA ~ MEXICAN THEME BIRTHDAY PARTY IDEAS

Celebrating your birthday with a Mexican Fiesta is a sure way to have a great time!  My daughter and several of her friends had a ball with all of the bright colors and (hopefully) vivid memories of a beautiful party day full of fun!  Planning all of the party ideas and details was loads of fun- although we don’t claim to have everything authentically perfect- this is our take on a party that combines Mexican birthday party ideas with a young girl’s likes and wishes!  For instance, we know hedgehogs don’t hail from Mexico- but when she fell in love with a festive-looking hedgehog at a local shop, we decided the hedgehog would make a perfectly fun party favor!  So read on and enjoy- and hopefully you will find an idea or two that you can use for a Mexican-themed party or even a Cinco de Mayo celebration, too- and inspiration to incorporate ideas that make your party perfectly-suited for the birthday child!

CAMILLE’S CLUBHOUSE ~ Confectionery, Soda Shoppe, Spa

My daughter had lots of ideas of what she wanted to do to celebrate her 10th birthday!  She wanted to have lots of cookies~ and have a soda shoppe ~ and set up a spa for nail painting!  With so many ideas, I knew we should come up with something that would tie it all together.  And, that is how Camille’s Clubhouse became the theme- the Clubhouse is where you can find lots of her favorite things!  We sent invitations with a an insert that had a “password” that had to be unscrambled and brought to the party for “entry”.  That was an easy way to get the guests involved before the party even started!
