We are lucky to have a large strawberry farm close by, and we visit often during Strawberry Season! The children love to pick the berries and have a hard time finding a way to stop because they see ripe berries in every direction! We decided to put a few baskets together for teachers as a thank you for a “BERRY GOOD YEAR“, and I wanted to share the idea with you…simple, pretty, yummy, and healthy!
The cute baskets came from Michael’s. I also found the gingham waxed paper there on the baking aisle.
The gift tag ideas are endless! Here are a few ideas…
You are a BERRY good teacher!
Thank you for a BERRY good year in 1st Grade!
I couldn’t have PICKED a better teacher!
I love you BERRY much!
Have a BERRY fun summer!
You get the idea! Or, you could do as my daughter did…she wanted to make a basket by herself and write a note but she accidentally wrote “beery” instead of “berry”– which could lead to a completely different gift idea! Ha!
I say, stick with the berries, and I will work on spelling with my daughter this summer!
Such a nice way to say “thank you”! Remember to pick enough to for your family, too!
