Wow, wow, wow! This little girl’s first birthday was quite a celebration! Cute as a button and “sew, sew” amazing, this party was planned by The Event Studios and Marie Claire de Leon! The decorations are fabulous inspiration for a sewing party for older children or a Lalaloopsy party for the younger set! Enjoy all of the details- there are so many adorable ideas!
The sweets table was truly a treat! It was loaded with gorgeous “sewing-themed” cupcakes and cake pops!
The detail on each cupcake topper is stunning…
The Spool Cake Pops are such a cute detail~
And cake pops with sprinkles….topped with buttons, of course!
Cookies made to look like buttons- all in pastel colors…
And, chocolate bars (with customize wrappers) served on a mini suitcase couldn’t look any cuter!
The fabulous cake rounds out the desserts!
I am crazy about these adorable hats that were hand-made and customized for each guest! The yard and buttons on top are too cute!!
The table centerpieces are another one of my favorite design details. I just love how each table has such a great mix of sewing and flowers- it is beautiful and can be recreated with your own twist to make it work for your party!
Each table is different but includes the same elements~ and that makes it even more unique!
The mix of flowers with yarn is pretty brilliant~
Have a look at the paper plate button garlands that were used to decorate the ceiling!
I am always a big fan of having the birthday child’s name displayed prominently at their party- this display is creative, cool, and unique! And, notice more hand-made paper button plates!
Table numbers were made from thread cards- what a great idea!
Feeling SEW THRISTY?? The drink table was super-cute, too! I love a little clever and witty play-on-words to make everyone smile~
Gumball party favors for everyone- I always love these little gumball machines, and so do kids!!
Party favor tags were made to look like buttons~
This party was just fabulous…
To capture photo memories of the guests, Anika’s mom, Marie Claire, made this Instagram photobooth- I love how it looks great and is also captures a bit of pop culture that the family will enjoy looking back on through the years!
And, Anika definitely is as cute as a button!
Thank you so much for sharing your daughter’s party, Marie Claire! What a lot of effort and love- it was a beautiful celebration for your beautiful little girl!
