This “Let it Snow” Party is a flurry of fun!  I love the sweet desserts with adorable snowmen and the easy-to-create decorations!  Michele, of Sweet Threads Clothing, always serves up the cutest party ideas and dresses the children to a perfect-tee!

Look how simple and pretty mini-marshmallows are served in a snowflake push-up pop container and tied with a bow~

Sprinkle coconut flakes to create snow on your display…

I also love how adorable these chocolate-covered Oreos are!

Clear, plastic ornaments can be found for good prices after the holidays and can be decorated with a simple snowflake adhesive or decorated by the guests.  Also, add hand-made snowflakes or get creative with 3-D snowflakes that hang on the wall and mimics a snowfall~

Complete the table decorations with a banner that reads, “Let it Snow!”

Send guests home with a bag of white cotton candy in these great gable boxes with matching favor tags!

And, let the kids enjoy a snowman any time with these adorable hand-made tees by Sweet Threads and Co.!

What cute ideas with a unique color combo, too!  Thank you for sharing your ideas with us, Michele!

LILLY PULITZER CAKE DECORATING FLAMINGO BIRTHDAY PARTY IDEAS

There is nothing like the bright colors and happy prints of Lilly Pulitzer to make every day feel like a party!  For my daughter’s 12th birthday party, she wanted to decorate cakes~ Lilly-style!  So, in order to decide how to mesh the two, I kept thinking “if Lilly had a cake shop instead of a juice stand”… I have to admit, this was one fun party to plan!  It is a blast to see where ideas go in the hands of a TWEEN!  Enjoy and remember, “…being happy never goes out of style!”.

CAMILLE’S FIESTA ~ MEXICAN THEME BIRTHDAY PARTY IDEAS

Celebrating your birthday with a Mexican Fiesta is a sure way to have a great time!  My daughter and several of her friends had a ball with all of the bright colors and (hopefully) vivid memories of a beautiful party day full of fun!  Planning all of the party ideas and details was loads of fun- although we don’t claim to have everything authentically perfect- this is our take on a party that combines Mexican birthday party ideas with a young girl’s likes and wishes!  For instance, we know hedgehogs don’t hail from Mexico- but when she fell in love with a festive-looking hedgehog at a local shop, we decided the hedgehog would make a perfectly fun party favor!  So read on and enjoy- and hopefully you will find an idea or two that you can use for a Mexican-themed party or even a Cinco de Mayo celebration, too- and inspiration to incorporate ideas that make your party perfectly-suited for the birthday child!

Birthday Party Ideas for a Teen- How to Celebrate a TEEN

Wow! My daughter turned into a teen!  Sometimes it can be tricky to decide what to do to celebrate this milestone.  I wanted to share with you some ideas that may help if you want to mark the occasion but also keep it low-key.  At first, my daughter wanted to have a very large sleepover to celebrate.  I loved it that she wanted to include everyone she knew, but laughed at the thought of trying to corral close to 30 tweens and teens! So, I told her she could have a little, bitty, teeny sleepover and her “real” party could be bubble soccer (which she had been begging to do at this huge sleepover she was planning ).  So, realizing the play on words with a “teeny” party, we went with the TEENY theme and used as many miniature things as we could.  It was such a fun theme and the ideas could go on forever…but this is what we decided on for her teeny, little sleepover.
