Ahh! I love this adorable Panda Party so much!  If my daughter had not outgrown themed parties, this is exactly the party theme I would wish to host for her!  This is the first year that she has not requested a certain type of party, and so I will just share with you these fabulous party ideas from Jenny, at Bloom Designs!  I don’t mind living vicariously through someone else’s fun, how about you?  Jenny makes “Pandamonium” look so cute!

The party decorations are so much fun- I love the set-up on the porch around the fireplace…and I love the panda balloons and place settings that are on the party table!

The design of the panda and the light pink plate color is such a great mix.  I think these are adorable!

Of course, I love a beautiful dessert table and this one is just fantastic!  The Oreo cake and all of the panda desserts are so creative and very fun…

The white chocolate mousse in glass dessert cups decorated to look like panda bears is my favorite on the table!

The cake pops are beautiful in blush and white…and then look how sweet the doughnuts are with the simple, but oh-so-cute panda picks…

And, the panda bear macarons are pretty darn cute themselves!

For acitivities, Jenny says “..during the party the girls ate panda pasta and panda dogs- the birthday girl’s favorite on the dinner table set with our custom panda plates and party like a panda cups. The girls entertained themselves at the panda polish station and went on a panda hunt. Once it got dark the girls settled into our little movie lounge area and watched Kung Foo Panda where they ate panda popcorn and panda puffs. To make the movie aspect a bit more unique, I wrapped the candy boxes in custom wrappers and decorated the space with panda posters and honeycomb balls.”.  I love all of the details that Jenny included to make them whole party panda perfect.

Pin the Nose on the Panda was also set-up for the guests~ and everyone was able to Adopt a Panda to take home!

How fun is that?  I think the party ideas are just fantastic.  I encourage you to let me know if you host a Panda Party- I would love to see your ideas, too!  Cheers to all of the fun ways to celebrate your favorite people!

XO,

Lydia

CAMILLE’S FIESTA ~ MEXICAN THEME BIRTHDAY PARTY IDEAS

Celebrating your birthday with a Mexican Fiesta is a sure way to have a great time!  My daughter and several of her friends had a ball with all of the bright colors and (hopefully) vivid memories of a beautiful party day full of fun!  Planning all of the party ideas and details was loads of fun- although we don’t claim to have everything authentically perfect- this is our take on a party that combines Mexican birthday party ideas with a young girl’s likes and wishes!  For instance, we know hedgehogs don’t hail from Mexico- but when she fell in love with a festive-looking hedgehog at a local shop, we decided the hedgehog would make a perfectly fun party favor!  So read on and enjoy- and hopefully you will find an idea or two that you can use for a Mexican-themed party or even a Cinco de Mayo celebration, too- and inspiration to incorporate ideas that make your party perfectly-suited for the birthday child!

LILLY PULITZER CAKE DECORATING FLAMINGO BIRTHDAY PARTY IDEAS

There is nothing like the bright colors and happy prints of Lilly Pulitzer to make every day feel like a party!  For my daughter’s 12th birthday party, she wanted to decorate cakes~ Lilly-style!  So, in order to decide how to mesh the two, I kept thinking “if Lilly had a cake shop instead of a juice stand”… I have to admit, this was one fun party to plan!  It is a blast to see where ideas go in the hands of a TWEEN!  Enjoy and remember, “…being happy never goes out of style!”.

Birthday Party Ideas for a Teen- How to Celebrate a TEEN

Wow! My daughter turned into a teen!  Sometimes it can be tricky to decide what to do to celebrate this milestone.  I wanted to share with you some ideas that may help if you want to mark the occasion but also keep it low-key.  At first, my daughter wanted to have a very large sleepover to celebrate.  I loved it that she wanted to include everyone she knew, but laughed at the thought of trying to corral close to 30 tweens and teens! So, I told her she could have a little, bitty, teeny sleepover and her “real” party could be bubble soccer (which she had been begging to do at this huge sleepover she was planning ).  So, realizing the play on words with a “teeny” party, we went with the TEENY theme and used as many miniature things as we could.  It was such a fun theme and the ideas could go on forever…but this is what we decided on for her teeny, little sleepover.
