I can’t say enough about how much I love this party- not only is it a FABULOUS party theme and design, but it is beautifully healthy with an emphasis on how to throw a party for children with severe food allergies.  Lovely mom, Sibel, shares this party with us in honor of her son Arda who deals with severe food allergies each day… but who still celebrates birthdays in style!

With gorgeous shades of citrus, Sibel decorated the party room with vibrant colors sure to put anyone in a party mood!  The table setting outdoors was equally perfect- Sibel made the table skirt and had a perfect spot for the children to enjoy the wonderful treats!

And, the treats were just gorgeous!  Have a look at all of the creative ways Sibel served the children and adults at the party…

Fruit Sorbet topped with star fruit slices for the children and pineapple cocktails for the adults~

A table full of fruits kept everyone happy~ I especially love the crocheted orange holders that Sibel made herself!

What a beautiful display~

Watermelon bites and dragon fruit…

Ruby Red Grapefruit with freshly-picked pomegranate~

There were many juice choices- these show freshly squeezed fruit juice minis…

A gorgeous dispenser was filled with juice and was surrounded with glasses waiting with pomegranate seeds~

Sibel added a veggie display with a few fruits tossed in to help make this party even healthier!

Baby avacados drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with salt and pepper~

Sibel set up the cutest table for the children~

I love the place cards for each child…

I would say this Birthday Boy had quite a fun time!

Sibel made sure the guests knew how much they were appreciated- favors for the adults included homemade jam made by Sibel along with plates and spreaders…

Favors for the children included wooden fruit and other fun treasures…

And, chocolate bars with wrappers made by Sibel~

And, for the sweet friend that helps make non-allergen treats for Sibel’s family…a gorgeous pepper tree!

What a gorgeous party, Sibel!  I love it, and I love how well you share ideas for making a celebration healthy and safe!

CAMILLE’S FIESTA ~ MEXICAN THEME BIRTHDAY PARTY IDEAS

Celebrating your birthday with a Mexican Fiesta is a sure way to have a great time!  My daughter and several of her friends had a ball with all of the bright colors and (hopefully) vivid memories of a beautiful party day full of fun!  Planning all of the party ideas and details was loads of fun- although we don’t claim to have everything authentically perfect- this is our take on a party that combines Mexican birthday party ideas with a young girl’s likes and wishes!  For instance, we know hedgehogs don’t hail from Mexico- but when she fell in love with a festive-looking hedgehog at a local shop, we decided the hedgehog would make a perfectly fun party favor!  So read on and enjoy- and hopefully you will find an idea or two that you can use for a Mexican-themed party or even a Cinco de Mayo celebration, too- and inspiration to incorporate ideas that make your party perfectly-suited for the birthday child!

LILLY PULITZER CAKE DECORATING FLAMINGO BIRTHDAY PARTY IDEAS

There is nothing like the bright colors and happy prints of Lilly Pulitzer to make every day feel like a party!  For my daughter’s 12th birthday party, she wanted to decorate cakes~ Lilly-style!  So, in order to decide how to mesh the two, I kept thinking “if Lilly had a cake shop instead of a juice stand”… I have to admit, this was one fun party to plan!  It is a blast to see where ideas go in the hands of a TWEEN!  Enjoy and remember, “…being happy never goes out of style!”.
