What a sweet way to capture the fun, happiness, and love that two best friends share~ especially when one friend is moving far away! Mom Jennifer came up with this lovely send-off for her daughter’s friend using her resources from her own shop, Discarded Couture. I love to see how different families use what is at their fingertips to make special days for each other. What I also REALLY LOVE is that these gorgeous photos were taken by Jennifer’s 11-year-old daughter! Creativity may just run in this family!
Jennifer invited Erin Bradley to treat the girls to hair and make-up to go along with the dress up clothes from Jennifer’s shop. It is fabulous to see how big sister Loganne captured the day in photos for her little sister!
They played dress-up and designed fashion-plate sketches…
Wardrobe changes…
And, a funky frame for posing!
There was even a funny little fairy to find…FAIRY IS THIS WAY…
AN UNEXPECTED FAIRY, I would say! I bet that made for a good giggle! Nothing like a fairy dragon! 🙂
Such a creative way to hold on to memories of friendships and childhood! Jennifer also had hand-embellished favor bags for the girls (and the big-sister photographer)~
Such sweetness! Thank you for sharing this great idea with us, Jennifer! I enjoyed seeing the talents in your family!
VENDORS AND CREDITS~ EVERYTHING AT THIS PARTY WAS 100% UPCYCLED!
