An uber-talented mom designed and hosted a fabulous Woodland Fairie Party for her daughter’s 9th birthday! Nikki of Nikkiikkin has a creative eye and loads of talent- she is an interior designer in New York City who also designs invitations and bakes beautiful cakes! This party is a delight!
Nikki used a fairie image and framed it with a grapevine wreath to give it a woodland feel~
Tree rounds, moss, and rocks add perfect details for a woodland party…
I especially love how Nikki attached the straws to the round tags by threading them through holes punched in the tags. Simple brown twine holds the tags~
The cake that was so lovingly made by Nikki looks as though it is on a wooden stand… the stand is actually a “dummy cake” covered in fondant and was carved and handpainted by Nikki to look “faux bois”…quite an amazing detail!
Nikki usually makes the invitations herself, but she found this beautiful and fitting invitation…
Nikki designed welcome signs, activity signs, and a menu based on the invitation she used~
The girls decorated “Fairie Houses” and went on a “Treasure Hunt” to find fairie treasures~
There is a gorgeous cafe close to their building in NYC, and so the girls walked over to enjoy a woodland fairie lunch. Nikki arranged for the girls to make their menu selections before they arrived and each girl simply had to hand their menu choice to the server. What a brilliant way to order for a large group!
Thank you for sharing this lovely party with us, Nikki! You overflow with talent!!
