Carmen Johnston exudes happiness~ which is reflected in the gorgeous way she designs, creates, and installs plants and containers at the many homes she enhances through gardening. Carmen enthusiastically shares ideas and tips for creating a similar feel in your own home and she also brings the service right to your door! Based in the southeastern part of the US, Carmen has made this area more beautiful with each project she takes on.

I have known Carmen's family my whole life which makes watching Carmen's talents even more fun (the street where I grew up even bears her last name because her husband's family developed the area). The Johnston's owned a plant supply and gardening company that was the step that Carmen needed to realize her passion for landscape design, gardening, and event opportunities. And, wow, did she embrace it! Carmen creates stunning designs that show her creative eye and love of all things green and blooming!

Carmen and her team bring landscaping dreams to life for their customers as they design and then install the carefully planned aspects of the yards. One of my favorite aspects of Carmen's business and talents is the garden container side of her business. So many layers of fabulous plants and blooms are mixed together under Carmen's creative eye. Each one is stunning and yet also attainable and down to earth. Notice how Carmen used grouping of potted plants to make this porch become a show-stopper...

This oversized centerpiece is a commanding design that looks fabulous on a large table or on a porch. It provides such a warm welcome to have this greeting everyone as they arrive! I would love for Carmen to come work her magic on my porches each season!
