This recipe for baked Swiss cheese chicken is from a family friend who ran a restaurant and made this dish often. It is comfort food and is also very easy to make!

Baked Swiss Cheese Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 6 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups herb stuffing mix
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup ***

Instructions
 

  • Place chicken in buttered casserole dish and top each piece with a slice of Swiss cheese.
  • Combine milk and soup and pour over chicken.
  • Sprinkle stuffing mix over top.
  • Drizzle with melted butter.
  • Cover and bake at 350 degrees (F) for 50 mins.

    1 Tablespoon flour
    3 Tablespoons butter
    1/2 cup chicken broth
    1/2 cup milk
    salt and pepper to taste
    1. Melt butter over medium-high heat.
    2. Whisk in the flour and keep whisking until smooth and bubbly.
    3. Slowly whisk in the broth and milk, bringing to a slight boil. Continue whisking until soup is thickened.
    4. Salt and pepper to taste.
