There’s nothing happier than a strawberry party- and bunnies go right along with that theme! For Mother’s Day, a strawberry-themed lunch lends itself to a beautiful table setting. I was inspired by the red in Hunt Slonem’s bunny painting seen below, and the fun vibe of the plates and napkins from the Hop Up Shop! You can get as fancy or as casual as you like.
I used vintage strawberry fabric to cover the tables and I LOVE the black and white bunny plate and napkins paired with the fabric. It’s a perfect blend of vintage and modern. As you can see in the photo below, I actually used the bunny dinner plate on top of a vintage cake stand. It is the perfect centerpiece for the table!
The table is set with white plates and vintage lettuce leaf plates. On the sideboard, guests can chose which bunny plate they would like to use for their dessert plate. A fluffle of bunnies painted by Hunt lines up alongside the tray of bunny portrait plates.
Those bunny glasses are always in rotation on my tables- the colors and the gold bunnies are too charming to keep in a cabinet.
Letting guests choose their favorite plate for dessert is a fun way to use the bunny portrait plates.
And, I have to show you the Rabbit Run canvas bag that is perfect for moms on the go. It is extremely durable and has the famous bunny print. Everyone always asks me about this cute bag. It is such a great gift (even for yourself) and will be perfect for trips year round. I use my for shopping, traveling, and beach.
I hope you enjoyed this bright, colorful table setting idea and will implement it into celebrations in your home. You can save 20% off at the HOP UP SHOP by using the code LYDIA20 at checkout.
